Novo estudo publicado anteontem no Lancet apontou que dieta com menos carboidratos e mais proteína animal leva ao aumento da mortalidade..

📚 Os pesquisadores combinaram os resultados de oito grandes estudos, totalizando 432.179 pessoas de todo o mundo, e analisaram a relação entre a ingestão de carboidratos e o risco de morte.. Os principais achados foram: •
1️⃣ No geral, as pessoas que consumiam dietas com carboidratos em quantidade “moderada” (cerca de 50 a 55% das calorias provenientes de carboidratos) tiveram o menor risco de morrer. As pessoas em dietas com baixo teor de carboidratos ou com alto teor de carboidratos apresentaram um risco maior de morrer do que o grupo com consumo moderado..

2️⃣ Entre os consumidores de dieta low carb, aqueles que preferiam as fontes ANIMAIS de gordura e proteína se saíram PIOR, enquanto aqueles que preferiam as fontes VEGETAIS de gordura e proteína tiveram um risco 18% MENOR de morrer.
