#Lyduvenai #Railway #Bridge - the longest (599 m) and the highest (42 m) bridge in #Lithuania. The bridge crosses #Dubysa river and is the part of #Radviliskis - #Pagegiai railway road.
Some facts: 🐌 1916 the wooden estacade was built by pioneers of German army. 🐌 The wooden estacade were not firm enough because of it’s size and height. That’s why on 1918 the new monolithic iron bridge were built. 🐌 1944 the new bridge were detonated and blew up. 🐌 1951 the bridge was rebuilt by soviet army.
