Sundays tend to be meal prep days for me which is always a great opportunity to share what goes into Kyro's bowl!
Today's meal is:
🍖 @reelraw: buffalo, ground organs, meat and bone content
🥚 raw egg with shell
🍜 @honestkitchen bone broth
🐐 @honestkitchen raw goats milk
💊 @kinandkind turmeric/coconut flakes and spirulina
🐟 grizzly salmon oil
🐚 green lipped mussel powder
Note: the raw goats milk and bone broth have remained in their powder form so they show in this photo. To serve I warm water and rehydrate them to add to the bowl in soup-like form. I often mix the supplements in with this soup also for easiest ingestion. This photo is deconstructed for sharing purposes.
Additional note: before considering a raw diet do your research. While raw diets are the most species appropriate diets they require balance for success. If you are unable to feed a balanced raw diet you are doing more harm than good. There's many great sources of information out there. One of my favorites on IG is @perfectlyrawsome. FB also has an excellent raw feeding group called: "The Raw Feeding Community".
