Udon West is a straight up udon noodle house that allows you to customize your udon dishes with various toppings. When asked if the restaurant tries to cater to a more American taste, Mr. Kawano, the manager, is known to have replied, “The udon we have here comes straight from Kyushu, Japan, and we stick to the Japanese taste. If you don’t like it, I guess it’s too bad.” #japanesefood #newyorkfood #oyakadon
