In the last 2 weeks before comp I got so tired that I would have to nap in the afternoons 😴 15-16 weeks prep total & I transformed my body to the best I’d ever been 💪🏽 I didn’t starve myself at all or so copious amounts of cardio - but after weeks of being in a deficit it definitely took a toll 💯 Comp prep taught me so much about myself - mentally & physically 🙌🏽 My only competition is myself & being better than I was last week, month, year 😍 I think so much of us can get caught up looking at what others are doing and how they look instead of focusing on their own goals & journey 💜 9.5 weeks into my mini 12 week cut & despite the bags under my eyes 😂 I’m feeling good!! How you look in the gym versus outside is totally different! My back in training versus normal life (swipe left 👀) So many of my female clients get too scared about 'bulking up' in the upper body (me included sometimes lol, we're all human). I feel like a mini beast when training upper body but truth is we don't have the genetic capacity to bulk up with muscle like our male counterparts (without serious chemical assistance at least and even then it would be a struggle lol). For anyone curious I'm training upper body once per week, with 2 exercises per body part. In other words barely anything I just have low body fat in that area

When you have run three times in 6months and you decide to run on a stinking hot day and struggle the whole way. All I felt like doing was running like a dog with my tongue out. This running on grass instead of concrete business is hard work @stacey___taylor but can definitely feel the rewards!! .
