“A recipe for love ... a spoonful of smiles, a jar of joy, a cup of kisses and a handful of hugs. This is my family.” 💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛
About last Friday 🌸 ... we attended our gorgeous friends eldest son’s wedding. This is only the 4th time in our professional photography career that we were both photographer and guest at the wedding. And best of all, our little family was there with us ❤️ We always dress in black when working ... professional, but comfy ... so in that sense I guess my normal #fashionsense is not my 1st priority. A pair of black pants, black top and comfy black shoes is the norm and for the most part of Friday I was dressed in my standard outfit. We did 90% of their photo’s before the church service, so this made it possible for me to dress up like a guest after the biggest part of the day was done. I must confess that it did feel weird to dress up and still have 2 camera’s around my neck as accessories 😀
Anyway, even though it’s friends, we still work the same way we would at any other wedding. So it is safe to say that I was super tired at the end, but we had a fab time.
I also yet again realised how powerful God is. I received some bad news on Thursday and since I’m such an emotional person I knew this was the type of news that will have me in tears and be an emotional mess for most of the day. God answered my prayers and helped me focus on the wedding 100%. Saturday though was a different story. When cancer hits your gorgeous sister for a 2nd time, it makes you feel helpless. But in the midst of this all I know that God can over rule anything. He will do a miracle yet again. 💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛
