HEAD IN THE CLOUDS
I was that "head in the clouds" kid. I was always writing a story, planning a fake business, dreaming up the next drawing I wanted to draw, and making imaginary worlds out of cardboard boxes or trees in the yard.
I grew up. and guess what?
I was a teen, a college student, and a young professional who continued to think outside of the box, see the impossible as possible, innovate upon normativity, and believe that there was more to everything than what was obvious.
I didn't always have faith in myself - sometimes I still falter. But I think what has always guided my renegade spirit wasn't necessarily faith in myself, it was faith in possibility and potential and opportunity. I was always the vessel, so I had to care for myself, and I had to believe in myself, but it was my faith in the direction - the curves and twists - of my path that led me to where I am. And that will be what leads me forward.
Do you want to innovate in your industry? Do you want to believe anything is possible like you did when you were little? Do you want to recreate your working life - that 1/3+ of your adulthood that you'll never get back if you give it away?
Let's imagine together. I'd love to brainstorm possibilities with you.
