I usually rely on Beachbody for cardio workouts, but I decided to do one I created for the challenge I have running ... It sucked. I wanted to quit. I hated what I picked. I forced myself through two rounds. Sorry challengers! I will create a different one ... a better one.
This weekend's long run was the last of my long runs... Next weekend is marathon weekend! I'm still nervous and anxious and for some reason doubting my ability to run the time I want. I think part of it is social media pressure. I don't run as many miles or as many hard workouts as I see so many others posting. Although my goal time isn't as fast as theirs... I can't help to wonder if I should be pushing myself to those limits? But when would I spend time with Craig💑 and my pup 🐶, or have time for cross/strength training 💪, cooking🍳, sleeping😴, or my dreaded evening commute🚗 (morning isn't so bad). Maybe I should abandon time goals. This is why I hate road running. I never have this kind of pressure or stress when running trails.
