Selfie #5,896 I think!!! LOL and going strong. 🤳Actually that's how many pics I have on my phone right now, let alone my laptop 💻. Thanks to my friend's other half he was able to recover all my pics 😬 I know there are a lot of people that are annoyed by selfies, some think that selfies are linked to negative feelings about body image, or the idea of being sort of in control of our image and getting attention, being noticed, being part of the culture. ... and I also know there are a whole lot of health coaches, trainers and fitness junkies that agonize about if what they post is "too much." Not one one of them, it simply keeps us accountable in our wellness journey. So NO agonizing here.
One of my purposes is to help, guide and mentor others to reach their goals. Posting selfies or progress pictures of what I think could inspire at least one of you, it's super important and very rewarding.
I also know, I have been on and off social media-good for y'all, you got a break from me 😝, nothing wrong with telling the truth and recognizing that everyone, including me, gets overwhelmed from time to time. I like to deal with each day at the time and refocus when I know I need it. I have been doing my at home workouts-week 2 now-of the brand new #shiftshop fitness program, my food has been on track and working on my water intake. I'm back and intend, as I always do, to document every tiny victory whether you like it or not.
