They may not be the grass courts of Wimbledon or the clay courts of the French Open, but we think they'll do just fine. Check out our new outdoor tennis and basketball recreational area. #tennis#recreation#outdoorrec
The Hobie Mirage i11 Inflatable Kayak will fit perfectly under your tree, store well in your garage, and easily squeeze into any car. It is the perfect choice for the kayaker who is short on space or storage. The best part is, it takes less than 5 minutes to inflate and comes with a rolling travel bag.
Outdoor recreation (OR) is closely associated with land management. OR would be almost nonexistent if it was not for our public land agencies. My 30-hour on-the-job experience presented here in this poster with the US Forest Service was valuable. I now have a better idea of what it takes to make OR possible. I learned what it takes for the natural resources that we use to be made accessible to us. I am better informed how professionals work in public lands. I am aware how they work in the OR field. Another thing- land management I have realized depends on values. Your views, and ethics are connected to how you manage public lands. As an OR major, I would be remiss to not be concerned about the environment. The conservation and preservation of it is vital for all species. #Outdoorrec#ORPT#SUU#TBirdNation#Utah#ForestService

When I reported on Bears Ears National Monument for three weeks in October and November, nearly everyone I spoke with agreed that the countless archeological sites on Cedar Mesa - where Native American potsherds and structures are so plentiful you can stumble over them without even trying - deserved protection. Today, President Trump split Bears Ears in two, significantly diminishing its size in the process. This comes as welcome news to many residents of the immediate area around Bears Ears, who feel that the original national monument represents an overreach of federal authority, and a threat against their local economy due to restrictions on extractive industries and to the comfort of their small town lifestyles, due to increased tourism. Incredibly, Cedar Mesa does not appear to be within Trump's new monuments. Trump's action today shows no more respect for the diversity of local opinion than Obama did, and significantly less for Native Americans. For more, go to my website - link in bio.
