☑️ Keep your torso upright and eyes forward. This requires midline stability (core strength) and a focus point 👀.
🔺If your torso falls forward, your shoulders will compensate by hyperextension or you will fall onto your toes on the squat.
☑️Press the bar away. This requires shoulder stabilization AND activation.
🔺As you squat down, the tendency is to relax upper body and depress the scaps. ☑️ Push into the ground with your whole foot to activate your squatting muscles.
