Sunrise at Glacier Point. It always starts with blue light, the entire valley is cool and dark. Then the sky starts to get a little brighter. After that, you'll start to see some rays of light beaming across the top of Half Dome. The rays start tiny, you'll miss them if you aren't paying attention. They start to grow, a few more appear before the distant peaks, and then within a few minutes the sun spills over the horizon and starts to fill the valley below. It all happens quickly and before you know it you're in full sun, but if you stop yourself and take the time to watch those few minutes from blue to orange, I promise you'll walk away amazed. I'll never get tired of photographing people as they experience it for the first time.
