#MASSSSTravel #RealReel (long) post:
This RV life has some amazing perks, like the enjoyment of stunning and changing landscapes...but it’s not without challenges.
Life is still happening. We are still working, doing laundry, cooking, schooling, paying bills and getting groceries. On top of that we are moving at a fast pace, in some cases we are tearing down and setting up camp every 1-2 days. For real, “moving days” are exhausting. After a morning of tearing down camp, we’re covering 400-500 miles of road and that’s A LOT, typically 7-9 hours in the truck. Then setting up camp again. Then repeat. Matt and I have to occasionally remind ourselves that we are not enemies, we are on the same team. There’s no one else, we are the only tribe we have. We wouldn’t trade this for anything, we’ve chosen this fast pace on purpose & it’s worth it! ...but wanted to give you a glimpse into the reality of #MASSSSTraveling! Now, off to the National #oregontrail Interpretive Center to learn how pioneers traveled on oxen and foot at 2mph for months on end! 😳
