This plant wasn't very impressive at all when I got it. It had two flowers and the tip of the spike was bent over and hanging so sadly. I gently propped up the spike and removed a dying flower and lo and behold that nearly broken spike tip bloomed! I figured it would die from damage after having been bent over, but the buds opened and it's beautiful!
Another nice little surprise it that there was a tiny spike forming down in the leaves of one of the adjacent pseudobulbs! The spike it still growing but *fingers crossed!* it looks like it should have at least 7 more flowers!
This is a Colmanara Masai Red, by the way.
