Getting back into routine after a family and fun fuelled summer and testing out some biohacks for optimising Health looking at cognitive, physical, gut and emotional health in our 40s and 50s. Today I started with
🧚🏼‍♂️ good night’s sleep ✅ - using @motionnutrition sleep nootropic, in bed by 11pm, phone in airplane mode plugged away from bed, @renskincare & Now to sleep pillow spray and @betteryou_ltd magnesium spray.
💩 shot of probiotics✅ Have been having @symproveyourlife but trying others over next few weeks.
🏋🏽‍♀️ 50 min strength session with 5 min metabolic conditioning at @un1t_london
🥗 good refuel with protein (eggs), micronutrients from 2.5 portions of veggies (onion, peppers, spinach, tomatoes, coriander, garlic, spices) carbs (1/2 tin of borlotti beans provides 14.5g carbs and 7.7g of fibre), beneficial fats (olive oil) ✅
🙏🏼 Gratitude practice - share at least 5 things I am grateful for every night with my cousin ✅
🧘🏽‍♀️meditation - need to figure out the best time to do this. I have both @headspace and @justbreatheproject apps and have learnt TM so need to fit in!

This is me testing things out on myself and sharing the results. This will very much be a test week with trying to workout how to measure cognitive and gut health, organise body scans and blood tests and a bunch of other measurements. Seeing my very active and strong father rapidly age in his 70s is part of the reason why I am researching this to help prevent or reduce fast decline as I age. Love all the @bluezones work and the effects of MIND/Mediterranean/ Japanese / diets and lifestyle on our long term health.
