Make the tiniest change to your diet and you will still be doing your body a favour! And it doesn't have to be expensive either!! I use nothing but pink himalayan salt and have done for about the last 3 years. You can buy it in a rock salt grinder or fine ground form like this. This bag cost me around $6 for memory and will last agggggges!

As you can see it remains in its natural form meaning it retains the mineral goodness our bodies need!! That processed white salt is so incredibly bad and yet it is most commonly used 😖

It can be hard to drink water in winter right!!!?? It's cold and dark and you just don't feel as thirsty.

My tip for staying motivated in winter....find something new that you FREAKIN LOVE!!! My friends pushed me to come along to @_the_hiit_squad because they thought I would enjoy it given the type of training I did myself.
So I went and OMG!! Now I am obsessed!! Working fulltime and being a mama means I'm only coming along on Saturday mornings at this stage but holy shit I just love it!
I tend to be pretty self motivated and push my training pretty hard but these guys take it up a level or 10!
Winter mornings are chilly and it's easy to want to stay in bed but I love this session so much I'm up and at it!!! Bit of fun to finish my workout today. Haven't done squat jumps in awhile and the 2nd move is one I am still working on after learning it at my recent hiit squad classes.

So I settled for some core work when I got home today!
Trackies and socks on, heatpump on and some new moves to strengthen the core!!! Inspired by @morganrosemoroneyfitness these ab and back exercises really worked my core and put it to the test, especially tabata style doing 20seconds of each with 10seconds rest in between!

It's cold as here in the 03!! Motivation is probably at a low and you are shivering your wee ass off!
The easiest way to warm up is to GET MOVING!
Add this sequence into your day and you will feel warmer, get a bit of a burn going on the old legs and hit abit of cardio while you are at it!! I'm going to get right into this when I finish work today in the comfort of my warm lounge!

Ugly faces for ya Sunday morning 🤣
Last nights mascara, dehydrated after too many red wines and an aching bod from a wicked sesh with the hiit squad yesterday morn.
BUT we got it done and I absolutely love training with my man. Motivates me more than anyone and pushes me even when I'm sore and cant be bothered. Even got some good stretches in afterwards so we can keep smashing training later in the week.

If you want something, you go get it!! Dont let excuses beat you!

The best feeling in the world - passing a fitness test that you usually find pretty challenging!! Being only about 160cm tall and weighing 56kg this test always daunted me despite being highly motivated to pass.
So my morning went like this:

Dressed in military kit complete with 20kg combined weight of body armor and rifle.
💥lifted 20kg Jerry cans onto a platform at about my chin height numerous times within a set time frame
💥carried 2x 20kg Jerry cans a set distance numerous times
💥4km run in 28mins

Facebook throwing it back this Sunday morning!! Man I remember how much I wanted to get back into my fitness post pregnancy. I remember juggling breastfeeding with sleep deprivation, and essentially being a solo mum for the most part while hubby worked in the mines 4 weeks at a time.
It was god dam hard at the best of times, but if it wasnt for having a fitness goal and wanting to set an example for Sienna early in her life, I think I would have lost myself!

I'm all about goals!!! And I LOVE fitness testing because it gives me an idea of where I'm at when I know i have done little training and dont feel the fittest.
