Best conditioning I had since 2015.
I can't stress this enough, eating to little kills the ability to lose the extra last bit of body fat.
Prior to involving @coachlittlejoe I was 6 weeks out of the Stratford festival, at 9 weeks I had assumed I was behind so I decided to expedite my prep by eating less fat and virtually no carbs.
Wrong move, I lost fast initially.. I do believe this technique works for 4 weeks but afterwards the body adjusts. I can't explain the physiological processed taking place- Leptin, or thyroid slowing possibly but just speculation , but regardless this stalls the last but if far loss.
By the time Joe intervened I was eating more burgers and sushi then in my off season.
My body just responded super well, and after a great showing in Stratford , full and tight look, I started on a consistent higher fat, moderate carbohydrate diet. After 3 weeks of this my skin tightened up and lines started coming out. I can't wait to fill out for provincials with this level of detail.
Moral of the story, you need to eat in order to lose.
I was listening to Lee Labrada speak on prep, he insisted a good healthy fat range for him was 40-60g of healthy fats. 150g of carbs.
Can't wait to bring my best package yet in 3.4 weeks.
