Yesterday, the RTC held our second National Camp simulation for our athletes. We were so pleased to be able to connect with our friends @olympium_synchro and @gocapitalsynchro to have their athletes who are attending the Camp join us for this event!
This simulation was an amazing opportunity for the Competition Development coach candidates who were taking their course in Toronto, and were thrilled to be able to observe our high performance athletes in a competition situation. We couldn't have planned the timing of our simulation any better if we tried!
We were also fortunate to have Eric, a student from @uoit who is working with @csiontario, join us to measure our athletes' lactate levels and heart rates before, after and during our competition swims. This type of testing and data collection in synchronized swimming is pretty groundbreaking, and we're so excited to be a part of it!
A special thank you as well to our Ontario judges, Debbie Sands and Wendy Yule, who came out to our simulation yesterday, and Pat McCann and Jan McLaughlin who came to judge our first simulation last week. None of this would be possible without your support, so thank you so very much for your time and energy!
