"What keeps me inspired is reminiscing about little me, maybe in the 3rd or 4th grade during the middle of winter, trying to chip ice out of my mothers driveway so I could hoop. What inspires me is little me spending hours outside alone shooting hundreds of shots from sun up to sun down. I remember willing to do whatever it took to play no matter the cost or consequence to play basketball. No lights, no crowd, no fans, no expectation, just me and my love for the game. When you develop a love for anything thats meaningful, competing in order to upkeep and maintain that love is purely instinctual. Naturally when something means a lot to a person they will do what it takes in order to maintain their standards and rise above or accomplish the task at hand. What inspires me is making little me proud, being that man, day in and day out, that little me would be proud to look up to and thank for not letting all those years fighting for what he loved be in vein. That's what drives me to compete."
