#transformationtuesday These 2 pictures were taken about 3 months apart. Sometime I beat myself up because I don't see the change fast enough, I don't feel like I'm improving or getting strong enough but then I go back and see these changes. What changed? 3 major things... 1. Consistency with my eating. Literally downloaded an app that would go off every 2.5 hrs. I started eating 6-7 really small meals a day. I downloaded another app that would have me take pictures of all my meals so that I can see exactly what I was doing. Used both apps religiously for about 7 weeks till it just became a habit. 2. Lifting with a purpose more isolating muscles and not just throwing things around. 3. Became a pescaterian. I tried going vegan for about 1.5 months but I just wasn't mentally 100% ready for it. I was struggling with my workouts and felt as if I was losing my muscle very quickly. I have recently changed my eating again. Currently doing #intermittentfasting so pretty much I fast for 18hrs and I have a window of 6 hrs to eat. I am not trying to be a fitness model so yes I give myself some room for error in the weekends. Yes I will have a drink or two and I am ok with that. I am a strong believer in balance and while I am on a fitness journey I also enjoy living life with a glass of wine. Why did I change my diet if it was working for me? My body tends to plateau. I feel like I needed a change again. After doing some research decided to give it a try. I am currently in week 3 and feeling great. If it doesn't work for me I know exactly what I need to do again. Looking forward to my next #tt picture in 2 months. Whatever your goal is just keep pushing and don't give up.
