Day 7: BEST DAY EVER in CUMBRIA! I was grumpy when I heard that heavy rains spoilt my plans for Day 7. So I saw this pub and walked in. There was just me and a few other people. It was quiet because the rain was so heavy outside and BBC was just rambling on about the floods.
UK has got the friendliest people around. Even in floods, nobody was complaining. In UK, everyone stood in solitude and did what they can to alleviate the sufferings of others. The bartenders kept saying "Bless Carlisle." "Bless Cumbria." "We will get through this together." They offered hot tea, biscuits to anyone in the bar because they know the weather is just horrible outside. They turned up the fireplace to the maximum for warmth. And everyone was just sitting around, laughing and trying to make each other happy. The bartenders played cheerful Christmas tunes in the background such as "all I want for Christmas". And the laughter, the kind words will remain in my heart always. Long Live UK! :) :) and all you friendly people! BLESS YOU ALL! BLESS CUMBRIA! :') #youwouldncomehere #zixuanstravel #chanbrotherswillNOTbringyouhere #onlyasianboy #lovecumbria
