THIS IS ME BEING HONEST, there is a lot of influencers out there that talk a lot of people down or that direct messages at others in order to make them selves feel good. They seek self justification because others are posting what works for them to their own followers. I've seen many posts recently attacking "cardio vs weights" results which to me doesn't make sense. Each and everyone one of us has different body types and the last time I checked each and every one of us is entitled to their own opinion.
Above are some crazy facts about lifting weights, the results are insane and I'd pick these benefits over cardio any day 👏🏽. If you're someone that puts others down, you're doing it for a reason. Always squeeze the glutes @ the top and release slowly. I would try to incorporate these once a week into your leg workouts.
Primary muscles worked: Glutes & Hammies
Secondary muscles worked: Quads & Calves ~ *** For building use heavier weight with less reps. 8-10 rep x3 sets
*** For tighten & toning use Lighter weights with more reps 10-15 x3 sets

Trying to improve your bench squat and deadlift numbers by working up to a 1 rep max every session but getting nowhere?

If you want to lift heavier weight for 1 rep, surely the best way is to push as heavy and as hard as you can every session?

Not necessarily. Some people, it will work for, however for the vast majority of gym goers it will in fact hinder their progress.

Research has shown that training the same movements for more than 3 weeks in a row and maxing out on lifts under the 3 rep range, can have a damaging effective on your training. The reason being, it can drain your Central Nervous System (CNS).

The main concept behind CNS fatigue is that activating many motor units all at once has a detrimental effect on the body, and performed over a period of weeks or months, will slowly result in poorer performance.

There are many ways to combat this but still work towards improving your 1RMs.

One of the most beneficial is cycling the intensities in which you lift. Progressing towards higher intensities and weights over time allows your body to adapt to heavier weights and greater reduces the risk of form breakdown, meaning the lift will be done better.

First thought upon waking was "dang I do not feel good😩" instead of listing my excuses and going back to bed, I started listing my reasons to get up! .
1. My energy is better when I workout
2. My anxiety is lower
3. I eat better throughout the day
4. I feel strong, beautiful and confident
5. My friends in my accountability group are waiting for me to show up

Got to that last one and I was like "ok let's do this 👊🏻" Try this next time you wanna give up. List the reasons to keep going!! You have nothing to gain with excuses, but everything to gain by pushing through!! And need a push partner in staying focused on hitting those goals?!? I am your girl 🤗

TIPS: Om man som pappa har svårt att komma igång med löpningen, ta det stegvis! Alla kan inte gå ut just idag å köra 8 km. Så starta med 2 km lugn jogg (prattempo ) 2-3 ggr i veckan. Kör det 2 veckor innan du ökar till 3 km, kör det i 3 veckor... Sedan 4 km i 4 veckor - 5 km i 5 v, 6 km i 6 v osv... med det ökningen löper du LÄTT 1 mil flera ggr i veckan inom ett år.
