Till this day I worry about being too small, but the fact of the matter is, I’m a small girl. Yes, I have curves and have worked within my means but I will probably never be 150/60lbs of muscle. That’s not how my body or my appetite is set up. But I spent years constantly comparing myself to women totally out my body type. Women that looked nothing like the women in my family. Genetics do matter‼️Do not compare yourself on your fitness journey. I will always be on the leaner side but I will always be strong and will always hustle 💯. You can be ripped and still be weak with no endurance. Focus on YOUR progress and YOUR progress alone 👏🏾❤️

Tips & Tricks to Keep Off the Dairy. .
Self-discipline is hard work and so is avoiding dairy from your diet.

The time has come where I need to make a commitment with myself, and that is to cut out dairy - for good. My body hates it.
.
It’s tough to restrict something from your diet hence why I haven’t completely taken dairy out of my mine. I shouldn’t be consuming it because it leaves me to feel bloated, gassy and just simply uncomfortable. You can determine pretty quickly if dairy isn’t right for your body - my gut is my main indicator and I’ve been told every morning this week - still bloated and feeling bleh when I wake up.

It apparently takes 2-3 weeks to completely eliminate dairy from you system to notice any changes… it won’t be easy but there are so many alternatives created for a reason.

I’ve been on quite a few phone calls this week, with potential clients…as I’m launching my new program for one on one coaching. There’s always one thing that just completely hurts my heart. I hear a lot of stories that stem from diet culture/ lack of knowledge. “We can’t eat this, we can’t eat that.” “Eat at this time”etc

I want you to know it’s not that you can never not eat something. It’s not that you should be doing X, Y, Z. But rather that you should be focusing on what works best for you as an individual!

Hyper focusing on getting the ideal body, and physique is so unrealistic. Once your truly build a solid relationship with food,your body, and prioritize overall health Everything else truly does fall into place.

What it really breaks down to is being educated. Educated on what got health is, on how you can have moderation when it comes to nutrition and your training! As a team. That is what we do at FTF. And I hope everybody learns that and wholeheartedly embraces it.

Quit Sabotaging Yourself. ✋
Human beings are weird man. We get all amped up and excited to make changes, get momentum, then subconsciously sabotage ourselves.

How many times have you “reset” your diet this year?
How many times have you told yourself “for sure next month I’ll start saving.” How many times have you started making progress and then without skipping a beat, fucking derailed yourself!? What the hell just happened!? 🧐

You were so committed! You were so dedicated this time! You swore up and down that this was the last time, until it wasn’t... Ah ha, I’ll tell you what just happened. Somewhere in the unknown depths of your subconscious mind rests a bunch of conflicting beliefs.
Until you resolve these, you will keep derailing your progress.

Motivation can’t help you here, you’ve got to dig deeper than that and get to the root of what’s interrupting your progress.
