Mondays 6pm Yin Yoga for Athletes!
This is centered around finding more depth in your body and quieting the mind. This class is designed to give students the chance to go deeper into poses by holding longer and giving more variations.
As athletes, the yang parts of our body are worked often without balancing our yin parts as well. Muscles are strengthened and stretched in yang and in yin we are working on developing more mobility in our joints and ligaments.
The postures will focus on accessing the connective tissues deep within your body. Poses are held for several minutes focusing on finding more mobility in the joints – spine, hips and pelvis.
