It’s been a little quiet on my social media outlets, and for that I do apologize! As the year comes to a close, it’s just become more and more apparent to me that making time for myself, as well as my family and friends is what is truly important. In this new era of photography, we are taught we need to stay “relevant”; posting on our outlets is crucial for continued bookings. Friends, I fail daily at this. When I started my business almost 8 years ago, there were no algorithms. There wasn’t the need to be relatable, or have a perfectly matching Instagram feed. It was just the art and making sure your clients were happy. It was honestly that simple. And while I may never shoot a wedding in Denmark or a paid styled session in Santorini because my hashtag game is lacking, I’m finally okay with just giving my clients the attention they need, and unplugging the rest of the time. God will always provide.
Happy Monday, lovelies! Stay motivated. #kaitlinsphotography
