Dinner time ☺️
Omlette, smoked salmon rice cakes and pickled garlic cucumbers.
For dessert apple slices with cinnamon and big cup of tea.
Omlette is one of my favorite food- nutritious, quick to make and with endless options😊 Just use whatever you have in the fridge 😉
Still, in my opinion, there are some must have ingredients: .
🔹Eggs- 😅 yolks- depends how calorie dense meal I want: one whole egg is ~85cal, when only white is ~17.
Usually I take 1-2 whole eggs and add extra whites (100-200g)(for that fluff and extra protein!). But you can use only whites too if you need a lighter meal. 🔹Second important ingriedient I already mentioned- extra egg whites- adding them steps up your omlette game into whole new level ☺️ .
🔹Some cheese- mozzarella, regular, feta, cottage, blue etc- even on lower calorie days, I find room for 10g of cheese- makes it taste so much better 😋
🔹Different frozen veggies, mushrooms AND onion&garlic- last ones are a must!!! Green beans, broccoli and bell peppers are my favorite ones 👌🏻
🔹And depending my protein need- I add just a little bit of chicken, minced lean beef or bacon.
But omlette tastes good even without any meat at all and egg whites can cover your protein need. .
🔹Dont forget to add water, salt and pepper😉
