A vintage lamppost with a slick wooden board which names the street after renowned photographer (chhayachitrakar), Jairoop Narain Chaddha. Yes, that's the same person who founded Indian Art Studio (in background), in 1910. Back then, this was the only place in Mumbai where you could get a good family photo clicked.
Cut to 2017, the place is run by the fourth generation of modern Chaddhas. One could argue that photography is in the blood. Holding on to their roots, this is one of the few trusted places in Mumbai where you can get old paintings and photos restored. Not to mention, you can still get vintage styled photos clicked here 📸
