She was sitting in the temple premises, making threads of wool when she noticed me. I was on my way to see the Kamru Fort.
She asked me to come sit next to her. I happily agreed!
She told me she had never married. She said she never felt the need of it. She had stayed her entire life with her mother and she had no intentions of going anywhere else. When I asked her how old she was she replied with an "I don't know!" Looking at her I could clearly tell that she had lived for a long time.
I joked about how I'll never get to live that long. She didn't argue. Instead, she just agreed! As I was leaving she said, "Next time when you come, bring your wife and children along. I'd love to meet them!"
I told her I was not married.
"Hojayega tab tak!" She replied (it'll happen by then)
She gave me a candy, asked me to take a picture of her and told me not to forget her!
