Hikaru x Haruhi
Things felt more strained in the Host Club now, ever since everyone had returned from Haruhi’s vacation that the young men had invaded. Both Hikaru and Haruhi assumed that since the two ended on a good note, that everything would return to normal once they arrived back to school but it didn’t. For some reason, things were more awkward than ever. Hikaru would get immensely annoyed whenever Tamaki would be all over Haruhi, always muttering an insult or just becoming moody. Haruhi was still pretty oblivious to it all, beginning to become fed up with Hikaru’s attitude. Kyoya had made them stay after school together in the Host Club to clean up as punishment for making the girls uncomfortable today. When Tamaki has been fawning over the girl today, Hikaru began to mutter nasty comments and Haruhi heard him. She couldn’t help but yell at him and it just created a huge mess of thing. Haruhi had no idea that two boys liked her, let alone even one. Hikaru was still unsure of her relationship status but could only assume that she was with Tamaki since he was everything he was not. He hated him for taking her away, she was the only one who seemed to really understand him except for his brother. The room possessed an orange tint to it as the sun began to set, the two halfway done cleaning the room and preparing it for tomorrow. They both made extreme efforts to avoid even the slightest physical contact, being on opposite sides of the rooms. Neither of them spoke a word to each other for the few hours they were there until the attractive ginger broke the silence.
