Sunday run day and something lovely happened during my run, my abs hurt!!! This is a massive break through. Since having a c-section my core has been, well, absent. It's taken 4 years but welcome back core!!! The thanks for this one definitely go to @adrienelouise and all the planks during her yoga sessions. Don't give up people some times things take 4 years and that's ok. πŸ‘Œ. 🎢 It was a Tom Petty kind of day: "No, I'll stand my ground. Won't be turned around. For #flexFriday I stepped WAY out of my comfort zone because I told y'all this is my year to be FEARLESS πŸ‘ŠπŸ’ƒ those baby abs peeking out, I've worked HARD for them and I've only got them because of consistency in the kitchen. Yup I said it, the kitchen. I was sabotaging myself for the last year on the weekends with my food choices. For 31 days I've stuck to my meal plan and holy moly is it paying off 😳

Pre workout picture today. Feeling like posting pictures will give me the motivation and incentive to keep training consistently and not let it slip.
I was blessed with curves in all the right places and I’ve definitely discovered that eating properly and filing my body with the nutrition it needs to be healthy and allow me to exercise efficiently has helped accentuate those natural assets. Protein, weight gain supplements, and sneaking in nutritionally sound calories has been a game changer lately. It’s taken work and focus, but I’m finally being rewarded with actual muscle gain, instead of my body breaking muscles down when it needs fuel. Getting to say hello to abs and a booty again - well, I don’t hate it. It’ll take work to keep it (and to encourage my body to put weight back onto my upper body so I don’t have to selectively crop pictures to leave it out for being too thin), but getting some energy and some muscle back is so worth it. #ohheyabs #fitness #bootygainz #healthymom #butimstilleatingcraponnightshift
