This is my morning every day. After rushing myself, and hurrying the kids, (sometimes yelling and threatening) I love the bus stop walk with my girls.
After the next school year Rose will be old enough to wait for the bus without a parent. I have mixed feelings about that. Not because of any safety issue (I'm totally convinced they could do the bus on their own right now) but because they're growing up so fast.
What mini milestones are your kids creeping up on? This summer our goal is to make Emma "stay home alone" ready. Basically make sure she can operate the toaster and the butter dish, should anyone get hungry. She's pretty much there already...
