Cleaning in the tiny house. Although we regularly tidy up after ourselves, our regular maintenance of our 100yr old reclaimed oak floors involves mopping them every two weeks with a special wood soap from @wocausa this soap has natural oils including coconut and soybean to help protect our floors since they get high traffic in our small space. As seen in this picture, we send the dogs up in the loft, stack the chairs and remove the small items we have on the floors so we can easily mop. It's really only a 20 min process but the floors feel so great after a fresh coat of @wocausa wood soap.
Some days our preferred way of making dinner just can't happen. Door wide open, heaps of bench space, chillin outside. Like today. When it's pouring rain. It's ok though, because this gloomy day has a happy ending - we get to have cereal for dinner 😏🎉 (while watching Suits in bed 😬)
Driving around Yellowstone feels like being in Jurassic park. Bison, enormous elk, bears, eagles, geysers, hot springs, roaming plains and dense forests. Everywhere you look, there is something wild and untamed!
Off the grid out of range in #arroyoseco all weekend with the fam and Bruno. Haven’t been there in 20+ years, such an amazing jewel in our backyard here on the central coast. It got up to 90-100° but the water holes were ice cold and so refreshing. Days filled with hikes exploring up the gorge, swimming, then campfires at night with some of the most brilliant night skies I’ve ever seen in Northern California.
Hello friends! I'm here for a little advice.... I am trying to decide on new curtains for my campervan, the current ones came with the van when I bought it and I'm not a huge fan. I'm loving this print but what do you think about dark colours In a small space? Windows run the whole way around my van so when they are all closed it will be 50% curtain. The second picture is of my current curtains to show you a lighter fabric. I don't tend to go for darker colours, do you think the contrast works? Or will I create a dark moody space at night? Any van dwellers/designers got a little insight for me? Thanks in advance!
