I have a habit of associating songs to people and I don't know whether it's good or bad. I have songs for almost every person I have come across, may it be Black, Creep, Ab jaane ki zid na karo or any Bollywood number which I stuck in my head because someone made me listen to it over and over again.
I seldom realise while listening to the song for the umpteenth time, that the song slowly writes it's lyrics in my mind while painting an image of the person as the album art. And even before I can realise how much deep I have wandered, into a place of no return; the song along with the person latches on to my body and soul, and becomes a part of it.
And when they leave, they leave behind suitcases filled with their songs. And they leave me broken even more, for each time I have to delete my favourite songs from playlist. And each time I am left with fewer songs to listen to, to cry to.
So I request you, if you wish to leave; make sure you pack your suitcase carefully and don't leave behind any of the songs that we sang along. Do me the favour of deleting them for me. Because it takes too much courage to delete my favourite songs from my playlist and without you, I am not sure if I will have any courage left.
