You always see this: “Abs Are Made In The Kitchen”...Yup that's true, your body fat % will be the key determinant on whether those abs are visible or not. But the abs are a muscle group—and although a very thin sheet of muscle, they are a muscle. They require as much love as every other body part--focus on both concentric/eccentric. There is nothing worst on someone who has overwhelming amounts of muscle--with underdeveloped abs/seratus/obliques. I see the most of the time with guys who dedicate their workouts to more machines over compound exercises. You must HIT THEM, unless your solely dependent on heavy compound lifts which will 100% definitely supplement! Bodyweight exercises always recruit more than one muscle group for each exercise so it is impossible to isolate and work one muscle group specifically by doing one type of exercise. It is however possible to increase the load targeting specific muscle groups with specific exercises so that they respond the most to the challenge. 🌵To increase glute & hamstring activation, lunge with a forward torso lean. It’s easy to maintain a straight back position & puts more focus on your glutes & hamstrings.

Here is me doing some modified version of 2 core exercises. What I've done is that I've combined both of these movements together, which helps me to get maximum amount of work in the shortest time possible. I have been doing these for the past few days and it does feel much better than doing those two individual movements separately. You have to make sure that you are not moving much of your lower body, let the torso do the moving part.
There are 4 movements in 1 rep, which means, a left swing, a right swing, left side stretch, and a right side stretch. All these 4 movements make 1 rep for me at least and I do a total of 5sets of 15-20reps. You can do less as well, depending on your level of core strength and fitness.
