Went deep sea fishing this morning with @dannyreed5 & started our 16 hour drive home. We're spreading it out over the next two nights so we dont have to drive it all in one day so our first stop on the way home was somewhere else we've never been - St. Pete Beach, FL. THE WATER IS SO CLEAR & I wish we were here longer than overnight, but this trip has been so adventerous I'm thankful to even get to come here, or travel anywhere. Bucketlist summer adventures has been amazing & i'm so happy we got healthy together so we can live a better healthier longer life together.

Just a tip for everyone! If any of y'all have a craving at night or are still hungry when coming home or anywhere late at night make a protein shake. After a few months of having it, Franky and I have finally assembled our power rack (left)! Our weight plates tree (right) came in a few days ago too. We also ordered a bench press bench (it can incline, too)! Now all we have left to buy are the mats for deadlifting and mirrors so we can see our form and we'll be all set! We'll also probably have to get another barbell and a few more weight plates but those aren't terribly expensive. We have 300 pounds of plates so that will be fine for a while. A super long term goal from now is to get a dumbbell set with a rack but those are SUPER expensive so that will be way down the road.

#motivationmonday -382lbs 👇 combined since we set a New Years Resolution just last year. We were fedup with living a life on the couch. @dannyreed5 & I were fedup with just existing. We were fedup with not being able to do the things other couples could do. Most importantly we were fedup with the life we were living. We decided we wanted more. We decided we were worth living for and the path we were going down meant we wouldnt live a long life together, or that we may not be able to have a family someday. As a team we decided to fight back & changed our lifestyle together. We started saying no to the things that didn't fit our goals & started saying yes to the things that did. We may not be where we want to be yet, but we're not where we used to be. We hope that someone will hear our story & decide not to give up. Monday Complete😘 Cardio day, I did 30 min Arc with my usual 6 to 20 incline at level 15, treadmill for 30 min on incline up to 12 (no hands of course), and abs. Food was also on point, still have 227 calories left over 😍 Hope you had a good one Good Night 💤

Sooo...I endedmy fast with a green smoothie. Since it is very likely the only thing I eat tonight I figure it won't take me out of ketosis. Once the hunger pangs started I had to listen, I felt ravenous but I learned my lesson about that last time. Oh yeah that is my EMPTY smoothie cup...told you I was ravenous. Here's what I learned... 1. The beggining and the end are the hardest parts(@ least for me). If you make it past hour 30 or so it gets easier.
2. Drink plenty of water, if you slack you will feel it. When I slacked off it felt like when my blood pressure got low. Drinking water really helped.

3. Even when you're not eating it's still best to weigh yourself in the morning. Your weight fluctuates throughout the day even when you're not eating.
4. Don't try doing too much. Walking is great for your heart and low impact enough to do while fasting. Heavy exercise can make you feel drained and impede your consistency if you're still recovering from the day before. I did too much the first day and ended up barely moving the next.

5. Listen to your body and always put your health first. I was only 5 hours away from a full 5 day fast. But no way was I going to risk my health. I reached the goal I set of 3-5 days, and that's good enough.

5. Transition back to eating slowly and carefully. Your stomach will thank you. I learned this on a previous fast but I think it's of utmost importance. I ended a fast and was forced into another one because I ate way too heavy and spicy for my first meal.

Folks. Today was a struggle. Things went very poorly at work which lead to a meltdown which thankfully I could keep in until I got to my car. I'm an emotional eater and all I wanted to do was go home and eat all my feelings. Instead I came and had the dinner I planned and a 0sp snack after. For dinner 🍍 and pickles (0sp), 3/4 oz good thins corn (2sp), and 8 mini chicken tacos for (11sp I think my app isn't working). After this I had a big ol bowl of unsweetened applesauce. Headed to bad and already mentally preparing for tomorrow and planning an attack on how I won't eat 1 million cookies.

BENCH day was on point!!! Definitely pumped about this set/rep PR! Last year I was maybe pumping put 225 lbs for 3-4 REPS with a struggle it today I was able to do 4 sets of 6 reps!!! Then did floor presses for the 1st time and a few accessories to end the workout. Yeah boi!!!! Anyways side note, still feeling really good in the gym but I'm preparing myself for when I hit that wall. By wall I mean the feeling that will start to happen as I get leaner. Hormone levels decrease, energy levels decrease, etc. Being lean isn't everything but being healthy should always be a goal. But there is a confusion between being healthy and looking good. Sometimes they don't belong together, although I think finding a balance between them is key.

This prep is something different entirely. Getting as lean as I will be isn't considered "healthy" But it's a goal I am willing to push myself to achieve. So let's do this 💪💯
