Tried something a little different today. Usually, I just sweeten my oats with stevia. But today I chopped up some dates and threw them in when my oats were cooking and I really enjoyed. Definitely a more natural flavor. I highly recommend you all try it.
I have a huge text today so I’m really making sure I nourish my body all day so I’m in the best shape possible for it. These oats were step one. Vanilla cinnamon oats with peaches, pumpkin seeds, granola, and sunbutter.

I’m so proud that I have gotten my diet down to vegetables and fruits. Most of the time my dinner is made from #rice, #beans, #lentils, #quinoa, all the #vegetables I can fit on my plate.🌢 🌽 πŸ₯’. Breakfast is always #granola and #oats that I buy in bulk with #ricemilk and #honey. Desserts are smoothie bowls and frozen 🍎 πŸ‰ 🍌 #fruits!
My grocery bill is substantially lower. My #preparation, #cooking, and #cleaning time is nothing compared to what it used to be. I’m eating way healthier than I used to.

So I haven’t gone grocery shopping all week since I have been sick so all I have been having for breakfast everyday is oatmeal...not complaining! Thought I’d switch things up today though and add some cacao powder 🀀 Happy Friday peeps!✌🏼

▫️1/2 cup Quick Oats (@heb)
▫️1 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk (@lovemysilk)
▫️1 tsp Light Brown Sugar
▫️1/2 tbsp Maple Syrup
▫️1 tsp Cacao Powder

Combine all ingredients together in a microwave safe dish. Microwave for 1 1/2 mins - 2 mins.

My go to oat breakfast when I need something quick and easy before school or the gym πŸ˜‹ you can make them the morning of or overnight style πŸ’•
➑️ 1/3 cup steel cut oats
➑️ 1 tbsp unsweetened shredded coconut
➑️ 1/2 tbsp chia seeds
➑️ 1/2 tbsp ground flaxseeds
➑️ 1/2 tbsp maple syrup or coconut sugar
➑️ 1 scoop collagen
➑️ 2 tbsp powdered peanut butter
➑️ topped with whatever berries I have in the fridge
