White chocolate and strawberry oatmeal 🍓🍥 with chia seeds, macadamia and a healthy dose of @organicburst maca powder. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I felt all over the place this morning (love how stressful situations always seem to time up so perfectly with my cycle😅) so once again maca powder came to the rescue. Maca is a herbal adaptogen, meaning it can directly change the balance of your hormones and help you tackle stress and illness 🙌🏼. Your hormones are the first to assist when your body handles stress, so I really find this stuff helps, especially during that time of the month. If you wanna make this oatmeal - ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3/4 cup rolled oats
3 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp maca powder (I use Organic Burst)
1.5 cups almond mylk
2 tbsp white chocolate spread (see my recipe a few posts back)
1 cup strawberries, sliced
Macadamias and granola for topping

Mix oats and chia seeds well in a small pan. Add the almond mylk and cook gently until thick and creamy. Stir through the maca powder and white chocolate spread. Top with granola, sliced strawberries, macadamia and a drizzle of white chocolate spread. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Waking up to this cozy bowl of turmeric overnight oatmeal w strawberries, banana, walnuts, @thecoconutcult probiotic yogurt & bee pollen 🤗
To make the oatmeal:
Add the following to a bowl: 1/2 cup oats, 1 tbsp chia seeds, pinch of cinnamon, 1 tbsp @vitalproteins collagen peptides, 1/2 mashed banana & 3/4 cup @popandbottle turmeric almond milk [leahsplate for 10% off]. Mix well, cover and place in fridge overnight. Enjoy in the morning!

Creamy oatmeal topped with sooo much goodness: frozen cherries and wild blueberries (that are so much more nutritious than the cultivated ones), peach & banana slices, ground flax, soaked mixed seeds (hemp, sunflower, pumpkin, chia & sesame) and mulberry pieces (from this month's @wholefoodbox) 💥💥💥 Mulberries are definitely one of my favorite additions to porridge or mueslis. They taste just like honey caramel bites 👅 I was asked how I get my oatmeal this creamy: at the moment I prefer using fine cut oats and I cook them extra long, like 20 mins. I love all the different textures 👌🏽 Soaking the seeds makes them more easily digestible and increases their nutritional value. I usually just added soaked chia and hemp but inspired by @lonijane I also soak the pumpkin and sunflower seeds - SO YUM! ♥️ Honestly a bowl of this is so satisfying and delicious - while providing the body with so many antioxidants, minerals and vitamins ✨ .

Did you know that supposedly healthy fruit yogurts can contain more sugar than icecream or biscuits and many of them only have the flavor but not even the fruit inside.
It's so much better to have a pot of natural unsweetened yoghurt in the fridge and fresh fruits and make a fresh fruit purée before you want to eat it. Then you don't have added sugar, artificial flavors or artificial colorings and they are so much more tasty than the ready made fruit yogurts!
This is a strawberry - blueberry - vanilla yogurt with real fruits and without added sugar, artificial colorings or flavors. And it's sooo yummy! 😋
I used soy yogurt, fresh strawberry purée and blueberry purée and topped it with fresh fruits. I added vanilla extract to the yogurt. .

3 ingredient breakfast cookies- banana, rolled oats and sultanas (raisins). Mash a banana, mix in 1/2 cup oats and a small handful of sultanas, drop spoonfuls onto baking paper and shape into round cookie shapes. Bake at roughly 180 degrees Celsius till firm. I started making this for Miss 4 in her baby-led weaning days and she still loves it now. You could also tweak it a little with things like cinnamon or swapping the sultanas for nuts or chocolate chips.

A late breakfast of blueberry porridge with a whole lot of seeds (6 different types!?) with some toasted coconut this morning as I am on night shift at work tonight. Night shift always messes with my meal times for example today will look something like this.. mini breakfast at 5am, main breakfast at 9am, mini lunch at 11:30am, main lunch at 5pm, dinner at 8pm. Ugh, night shift 👎🏻

Part 2 of OVERNIGHT STEEL CUT OATMEAL! This time with banana, Justin's almond butter, steel cut oats (of course) and unsweetened almond milk. I did 3 layers of each then poured the almond milk. Heck yeah!! I can't wait to try it in the morning. 😋🍌🥛🥄🥜 .
