👉🏼Remember, many exercises are recruited during compound movements. When you attain progressive overload with compound exercises, many muscles grow and get stronger.
💪🏼So, while the bicep curl is one way to develop your biceps, performing chin-ups, pull-ups, and many other exercises can add lots of mass to your arms as well, when you use progressive overload with them.
🙋🏻♂️Personally, one method of progressive overload I use is performing 5x5 with pull-ups, and increasing the weight I add by 5lbs each week. This has allowed me to hit a 100lbs pull-up for 2 reps. .
💪🏼For bicep curls, try adding 5lbs to a 3x8 every other week. You should see some solid progress.
