Not sure if it was the best idea to run essentially a 5k and then a 10k with only 12 hours between (though 8 of which were sleeping) but here we are...
My plan for today was to run a full 10k distance. The past few weekends my long runs have taken me to new PRs with my 6 mile runs but I stopped short of a full 6.2 mile so i wanted to acclimate myself to it.
This morning’s run was a test in both my physical stamina working off of very little real rest as well as my mental fortitude, as I goaded myself into pushing forward with each step. I knew physically that I could do it in spite of last night’s run, so I’m happy to have been able to see it all through 🙏🏼
