Nach dem gestrigen Long Run standen heute gechillte 16 Kilometer mit einer Pace von 05:07 mit 101 Höhenmetern und einem Durchschnittspuls von 139 am Programm.
Morgen sind noch ein paar Intervalle dran und am Donnerstag geht es leider schon wieder zurück nach Österreich.

The @nycmarathon provides the setting for the biggest field of marathon runners in the world, with 51,307 on the start line in 2017. The course itself weaves through all five boroughs of NYC, starting by crossing the Verrazano Bridge from Staten Island and finishing in Central Park, Manhattan. The route has come a long way since the marathon began in 1970, when 55 runners completed several laps of Central Park, and is now renowned as one of the great marathon courses in the world, with roughly two million spectators lining the course.

Ok so my watch has very high expectations of me 😬 I would be over the moon to get close to any of these times. That 2:49 marathon though 😂 just a 45 minute PB haha. How does @garmin calculate these predictions?

A slow easy 7 this morning and a little timehop to this time a few years back with my son diving in Grand Cayman. Loved that trip.
I pinched a nerve in my back yesterday and it was incredibly painful to twist or bend down etc. Saw doctor this morning even though It’s about 50% better and she said it’s probably fixed itself just a bit tender still and it does still hurt when my back is at an angle.
She said walking / running is ok (if no pain during or after), watch my posture but no gymnastics, no strength, no mad stretches. She did say I had an incredibly strong supple back which made me happy as 2 years of gymnastics has been hard😂😊
Glad to be running after that scare yesterday and promise I won’t complain for the next 4.5 weeks until Berlin 😬#scubadiving #grandcayman

Patterns // I look absolutely ridiculous on most of my runs because practicality is most important to me. 🙈 When I run part of my commute I wear this shiny rucksack (love this one), comfy leggings, wireless earphones and usually an equally colourful top (simply because those work best for those kind of runs). My running trainers are also not the most unnoticeable ones. The good thing is though, those runs save time, travel fare and as I live in north London, double up as hill training #winwin
