I was invited to give two Year 3 classes at my local school a pep talk about healthy eating. We made these cute 'Butterfly Snack Bags' (swipe ๐Ÿ‘ˆ) to reinforce the message that nutritious food is tasty and fun, which the kids loved. The muchkins were given the option to fill their snack bags with:
๐Ÿ˜ƒ seedless red grapes
๐Ÿ˜ƒ carrot sticks
๐Ÿ˜ƒ cherry tomatoes
๐Ÿ˜ƒ sultana-bran buds
It was sensational to see all the kids enjoy their masterpiece ๐Ÿ‘Œ

Skinny Chicken Parm for dinner tonight! Swapped out the noodles for some zoodles for a lighter version ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
- 1 lb chicken breasts
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 c bread crumbs
- 1/4 c parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 tsp italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- salt & pepper to taste
- marinara sauce
- mozzarella cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray baking sheet. Combine bread crumbs, parmesan cheese and spices in medium sized bowl. Beat egg in a separate bowl. Dip each chicken breast in egg then bread crumb mixture. Place on baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes or until cooked through. Remove from oven, top with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese. Bake an additional 5-10 minutes. Serve with zoodles ๐Ÿค—
