Introducing, Will @nutritionistwill who has been working on our platform for the past year to help improve our service and raise awareness about the potential for proper nutrition to act as treatment, and in preventing illness and medical conditions.
An interesting stat that Will quotes himself is that "80% of consultations [with a doctor] are lifestyle and diet related."
And he continues:
"Understanding and applying nutrition knowledge and skills to all aspects of clinical care is extremely important. With obesity rates at an all-time high, depression and anxiety affecting 1 in 4 people in the UK and the increasing prevalence of diabetes projected to cost the government billions of pounds, the need for inter-professional nutritional education is paramount.
It’s my mission to help support, educate and work with the current and next generation doctors on preventative medicine. Working with real doctors to find ways we can improve people’s health."
