This info graphic is based on a literature review by Mr. Alan Aragon and Dr. Brad Schoenfeld which investigates how much protein from a single meal is used for building muscle. For protein, the body absorbs everything but not everything will be used for building muscle and any excess will be used for other functions or oxidized. Their findings were that “optimal” protein intake is between 1.6 and 2.2 grams of protein per “kilogram” of bodyweight per day which split into 4 meals is between 0.4g to 0.55g of protein per meal.

EXAMPLE: Remember that KG is Kilograms of bodyweight of the individual.(Pounds divided by 2.2) For an untrained to intermediate individual of 200 pounds, optimal protein intake would be 36g per meal. For a highly trained individual of 200 pounds, optimal protein intake would be 50g per meal.

La preparación es simple 😉 perfecta para quienes tienen poco tiempo para hacer un buen desayuno temprano. .

Ingredientes:

•4-5 cucharas de avena • 1/3 de taza de agua • 1/2 taza de leche (de tu preferencia) • 1 manzana picada en cubos •Canela en polvo • Stevia .
Preparación: .
•Agregar todos los ingredientes a una cacerola a fuego medio y mezclar constantemente hasta lograr una consistencia espesa. Aproximadamente por 5 minutos. .
•Agrega más líquido si es necesario.

Progress in weight loss comes from consistency NOT rigidity. Often times we'll eat one "bad" thing and immediately go into self loathing mode.
