I've seen a lot of fitness women post photos of themselves in underwear or a bra with captions like "Sorry for the inappropriateness", or "I don't usually post pics like this but..." "Sorry about the underwear", and I say we put an end to these needless apologies 🙅🏼🙅🏼
Male bodybuilders can post photos topless, grabbing at their shorts to hike up the thigh as much as possible and we all merely marvel at dem gains, never thinking to call them man whores or tell them to cover up (which I believe is the way it should be!)
Women work JUST AS HARD to transform their bodies in the fitness community, and should be able to show that hard work off without being sexualized ‼️‼️
We apologize because society says a woman photographing herself in her underwear and/or a bra is "easy", "asking for it", "slutty", "not a take-home-to-momma gal", and that simply is. not. true. 🚫
As is obvious in the picture, my boyshort style underwear and sports bra actually covers far more of my body than my bikinis-->attire that is totally acceptable to wear in public places, even around kiddos.
Let's stop apologizing for our bodies and start FLAUNTING DAT SH*T proudly, because girrrrl I KNOW how hard you worked for that, and other real people with recognize too ✊🏻👊🏻😍😘
