The highly anticipated, Pakistan's first super hero thriller #ProjectGhazi had a première last night at #nuplex which was immensely disappointing for not just us (the audience) but the hosts of the night as well. You can judge it's caliber by the fact that the cast of the movie, #HumayunSaeed #syrashahroz left the premiere halfway.
Technical Issues ✨
Project Ghazi was heavily relaying on it's dialogues & sound vfx but sadly it was the department that has to be blamed the most as they tried recording vocals along with the shoot instead of dubbing it later (Just as all the Bollywood & Lollywood movies do) Don't know if the production team was trying to experiment or just saving some money. Whatever the case it was, they ended up making a joke of their selves. The direction was cheap enough to be compared with a 3rd grade (tamil) movie with a relatively better camera. The screenplay was drastically akward as the scenes were having no connection with each other.
Now, the real culprit, The post production team. We've seen senseless movies doing good in the past just because their post guys saved them from sinking but unfortunately in this case, they were the ones to kill it's class with ease. It was looking as if no one took the movie seriously.
We just can't comment anything about the story as it was a tough job trying understand the idea & narrative behind it.
Shahreyar was a complete disaster to the movie as he was a misfit for the role. He's not an action hero & will never be able to impress the audience through this genre.
Humayun was okay, but we really believe he should now start teaching & dictating terms to young directors so the industry could benefit out of it.
Syra looked pretty gorgeous on screen. We can surely say, she's the most elegant among all other actresses and she should never compromise on her image.
Adnan Jaffer played the negative lead and he was truly spectacular. Actually the only good thing about the film.
Overall, it was a film full of mistakes & glitches and even a postpone can't save it from failing.
