you can see some of my spine because I was dropped as a cheerleader on my lower spine and then later flipped on my bike with my dog and landed just below that. I’m learning to love this body for where and what she is now. So, to my body:
Thank you for taking me up mountains, plunging me into waters, and allowing me to soak up every bit of goodness with my eyes. Thank you for every dog pet you have let me feel, every kitty meow you have let me hear, and every chocolate chip cookie you have let me taste. I’ve used you for work and for play and for intimacy and for travel and even to grow my own food. I will nourish you and wash you and love you in your entirety from this second on.
