Still holding abs and a small waist. even at 232 lbs. Granted that weight is at night but I'll take it. Was goin to try and get back down to 10 pounds or so above contest weight but my body decided it wanted to grow instead. Biggest and strongest I've ever been and leanest at this high of a body weight also. Im 8 pounds lighter then my highest body weight but a significantly better look.

Ended up finishing 5th place in both of my classes. I met some awesome people from all over the country and got mentored by a pro. I'd say that's not too bad for my first show. I ended up placing 1rst in True Novice and 2nd in the open 😄. The dieting and dedication to be in this sport is unreal. But being able to bring the best you've got in the finals moments makes it worth it. Thank you to everyone who supported me these past few weeks ❤️. Especially big thank you to @diegodelatorre_fit for being my rock and constant motivation, @nan_cia for making sure I didn't mess up my diet 😂 and my coach @codywatkinsfitness for pushing me to do this show even when I didn't think I could do it.
And yes I totally stuffed my face till I got a food baby. I had the mango cheese cake, raspberry chocolate gâteau cake and macaroons from @papahaydn, the woody royale burger and fries from @tiltitup along with their homemade strawberry rhubarb pie with ice cream and Oreos pb pie. I also had a slice of pizza, peanut butter and jelly sand which and lots of bites of random things I had cravings for during prep.
Woke up feeling great and ready for some epic pancakes 😆. I also want a cappuccino, flat white or latte. I haven't had delicious coffee in weeks 🙏🏼. I only get one more cheat meal and then coach says it's back to prep. My next show is August 17th so I've got a few more weeks to bring a better package. #npc #npcoregon #figurecompetitor

Just the beginning. I cannot be upset or unhappy. These are for my father that recently passed from cancer. He planned to be here for my first show but cancer took him too soon. Thanks for believing in me dad. 🙏🏆
During this prep my life went through many ups and downs. Contest prep is a difficult time and for me was one of my hardest times in life. I never expected life or this road to be easy. I love life being hard and worth the fight. I met a lot of wonderful people today and you never know when someone makes an impression on you.
Next weekend is my second and final show before putting the machine in the shop for overhaul. I promised myself I would complete what I set out to do and I am extremely happy it was competing at The Pacific Coast Championships. Ron and Susan put together a great show and appreciate everyone that came to the show.

Meal prep: done!
I used to struggle with meal prep in the worst way. For those of you who know me, you know I'm a neurotic over- thinker. I would try to be as inventive as possible with my meals, and would wind up spending hours I the kitchen for a small handful of meals. One of the best things I've done for myself is to keep things simple. I still try a new recipe every week, but overall, I keep it super basic. Lean proteins, Mrs. Dash seasonings, and rice. Once I really started looking at food as fuel, it got a lot easier. If anyone has some fun meal prep ideas that they'd like to share, I'm always open to learning new things. Keep it simple, #fitfam 😊

From my fattest to my leanest. These pictures are 6 years apart. These are not within the same prep, but none the less this goes to show that at 195 pounds on the right i look significantly bigger then I do at 240lbs on the left. Being lean will makes you loom bigger. You may not "be bigger" but tou will look better. At 240 i had to get dow. To 175 lbs to compete and let me tell you 65 lbs is not fun to lose in 20 weeks. I do not get that fat any more. This year i started at 215 and got down to 185 at my lowest. #fatboy #shredded

Some stats: I am 6.5 lbs heavier and 2% leaner at the same point in time, my prep is long, but my energy is wayyyy higher, and my lifts are still holding strong.
