How will you be (more) BOLD today?
Here are 4 suggestions:
(B) Break up with the idea that you have to wait for the "right/perfect" time. Today, send that email. Make that call. Get registered for an event or training. Book that flight. Move forward.
(O) Outline all the challenges (bad things) that may show up as you move forward and go for it. Cross out the ones that are outrageous - and that stem from fear. For the realistic ones, think of a person (group, organization, book, tool, etc.) that could help and support you. Reach out to them and ask for help.
(L) Let go any ideas of perfection. Perfection is never the goal. Allow yourself to be perfectly human. It's OK to be an adult beginner. Our stumbles and failures are data to teach us how to do bolder things - in a new, or maybe different, way.
(D) Draft a letter of success to yourself. Pretend you are looking back 30-to-60 days from now. Write about your bold journey, what you did, how it felt, who helped you, and how you succeeded. Be specific and very detailed. Tuck this letter away in a safe place and then review it in 30-to-60 days. Repeat.
