"Am I really showing the real me and not only pretty smoothies and quotes?" Well, yes, I am showing parta of me...
But I could be way more real and SHOW more of me, more of the person my friends know me as. WHY? 🤔

Because I think Instagram is way too much polished photos and not enough reality. Don't get me wrong, I love beautiful settings, inspiration and pretty things, however sometimes that takes away the sides of life. 🌋🏞Which in the long run makes us believe that's the reality and we are not living 'that life' something must be wrong with us. .

Even though I'm a nutritionist counselor and health coach, I have days when I don't take care of myself as I should, or when I play small or become narrow minded or work too much or skip a meal. 🥝🙊But you know what? It's that, the imperfect that makes us human. 👌 PERFECT doesn't even exsist, we just got to LISTEN, learn, grow, be open to progression, be KIND to ourselves and do our best. 🙏 🦋 #imperfection

Keto, low carb, intermittent fasting, etc. With so many different perspectives on how to nourish your body, remember that it should always finish by passing through your own “filter”. With one VERY important question being “how does this fit into the context of my life and what I value?”..

Essentially “your lane” = your values & your life. Also keep in mind, NOT all meal plans are meant to work for you. More likely you’ll gather bits and pieces that fit into your way of life from 10 different styles of eating..

You do NOT have to do what everyone else is doing and if/when it doesn’t work for you remember that THAT IS NORMAL and THAT IS OKAY 👌! There is nothing wrong with you. It just doesn’t work for what your life, mind, body needs right now. #alwaysdoyou

Most of my lunches and dinners these days are nourish bowls because they are full of nutrients, balanced, filling, easy to make and so damn delicious 😊
My DIY tips for making big ass nourish bowls 👉🏻👉🏻
1. Choose a base of greens - my favourites are zucchini noodles and iceberg lettuce ..but the more the better 🥦🥒🥗. Get creative and add in extra veggies here.
2. Choose a good quality protein source such as chicken, fish, lentils or chickpeas.
3. Choose a carbohydrate source such as sweet potato 🍠 or rice.
4. Choose a healthy fat source - I usually go for avocado 🥑 or tahini (or both 🤤) but a drizzle of olive oil or handful of nuts also works well.
5, Combine it all in a huge bowl and voila 👌🏻 a delicious meal full of both micronutrients and macronutrients 😍

I do believe this to be true, and have experienced it several times🌷But it is just as important to honour the healing journey. It takes time. It’s allowed to not feel great all the time. Prioritising self care and downtime is sacred! Feel the feels, let it flow through you, get help if it gets stuck, and move on. Something greater is on the other side!🌷
