We were given a neat easy to read menu that was divided up so just about anyone could read the menu....well maybe not Floyd Mayweather, but that's another story.
The food here is a blend of Puerto Rican, Cuban with a small hint of Mexican.
That being said, I ordered the jalapeno crab balls and the empanadas! Both came out super fresh and the empanadas were hot out of the dryer! Both served with accompanying sauces that lends a twist of the already delicious treats in front of you.
For the main course we went simple and had the bar tacos. I had the fish tacos and my assistant had the pork. So where to start with these little slices of heaven?
On fresh not overly toasted tortillas, with a blend of freshly made salsa mixed with a tasty sauce that pulls together the whole thing together. AND THE FISH!!!!! Well I thought it was not to much, not to little. Not soupy and dripping everywhere. Perfectly fried with a portion that is not over bearing. Man what a full 9 out of 10 on these tacos! AND the only reason I'm giving it a 9 is, maybe there could be a little room for improvement!
I also ordered side of rice and beans with my tacos and they smashed it out of the park with this too! Seasoned to please the most discerning palette with the softness to truly make you feel at home!
