The girlfriend hit a MASSIVE deadlift PR today. She’s been running my Power Physique program ever since she began lifting weights.

Not bad at all for only being able to train 2, 3 times max a week due to a busy work and school schedule. Whether we’re in the gym, I make sure she focuses on adding more weight to the big compound movements over time to ensure progress. Efficiency and consistency will always yield guaranteed results.

THIS is the face of accomplishment! For 5 1/2 years I have wondered what this day would feel like.... since the first time I ever had a successful pump working out. 💪🏼 I have struggled with my body image on and off for most of my life. But the gym, from day one has always given me at least one reassurance: that I am strong. That within me lies a strength that I fail to recognize on most days. But not today. Today I got out of my own head. Today I believed in the strength of my body and mind. I have attempted this lift 3 times before today. The first time I failed completely. The second time I came halfway back up before failing. The third time I got it up, but with terribly sloppy form. Tonight I pushed two ✌🏼clean reps before the video, and decided to go for one 👆🏼more. This is HUGE for me. I cried 😪 a bit from the excitement of finally doing it! Welcome to the ☝️ wheel club, Megan! was so stoked bc i ordered my gymshark sleek aspire leggings and vital seamless long sleeve on monday and they already came!!! so you know i had to break those bad boys in today. i decided against wearing the top though bc i was really hot and also not confident enough to just pull a whitney simmons and take my long sleeve off in the middle of my workout LOL ☹️😭 anyway, i had a solid chest/tri day but i’m slowly starting to believe that i need a partner with me for these upper body days to spot me, otherwise i’m kind of a baby and shy away from weights i know i can do lmao 🤷🏽‍♀️

Top sets from today: 390 squat & 205 bench. The weights all moved but nothing felt amazing. And I realized during my very last set of squats that I was squatting too wide all day 😅😅😅 Oh well—the next block should be better!
